Permissive Paths

The permissive footpaths south and west of Saltford, which had been closed at the end of 2013 following the withdrawal of subsidy for public access by DEFRA, were re-opened to the public at the end of 2014. We hope most of you have enjoyed walking, running and riding on these paths at some point over the last few years.

Last year Saltford Community Association once again raised £3,000 from you the public, to keep the permissive footpaths around the village open until the end of October 2023. A huge thank you to everyone who donated.

When the donation appeal opens for the following year, SCAN will include a donation envelope for completion and return to a number of addresses around the village. If you can, please complete the front of the envelope so that we can claim Gift Aid.  Please consider a donation to the SCA of £25 or more.
